Dr. Amy Guccione has a particular passion for this specialty, which she describes as the most artistically oriented. Educational Background and Professional Journey
Dr. Guccione’s journey into the world of dentistry is both impressive and inspiring. She graduated cum laude from Binghamton University in 1998, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Comparative Literature. Her artistic background laid the foundation for her future in prosthodontics, which combines medical science with the art of smile design.
She then went on to achieve her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with a Minor in Oral Diagnostic Services from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2003. During her time there, she also served as a Dental Pre-Clinic Teaching Assistant, gaining valuable experience in educating future dental professionals. Following her dental school education, Dr. Guccione was a GPR resident at Nassau University Medical Center. She further honed her skills at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), where she received her Certificate in Prosthodontics and her Master of Science in Dentistry in 2008.
Before joining Chappaqua Dentistry, Dr. Guccione was an associate dentist in several New York-based practices and even started her practice in 2012. Now, she is a proud team member at Chappaqua Dentistry, where she continues to grow her clinical and professional skills in a collaborative and state-of-the-art environment.

For Dr. Guccione, the ideal patient is actively engaged in their treatment and eager to learn about the dental procedures and treatments involved. “I do my best to determine the most suitable option for each patient, which will meet his or her needs and expectations,” she says. When she’s not transforming smiles, Dr. Guccione enjoys a balanced life. She relaxes at her Tuckahoe home, indulging her artistic side by creating art. She also loves spending quality time with her children, whether hiking, going to the park, or enjoying a meal at Park 143 in Bronxville, where her art is featured. Dr. Guccione aspires to extend her skills beyond her practice, hoping to bring dental procedures to underserved communities.
